You will meet one-to-one with Dr. Worthy for a 45-minute session. This space is designed to meet individual needs, this includes—but is not limited to—trauma, career exploration, depression, anxiety, minority stress, sexual and gender identity, self-discovery, interpersonal difficulties, and addiction.
Couples will meet with Dr. Worthy for a 60-minute session. She will help couples resolve unhealthy relational patterns, by helping each examine underlying emotions and attachment styles. The goal of this treatment is to help couples develop a more secure, trusting bond. Dr. Worthy also provides premarital counseling.
Dr. Worthy enjoys providing informative, skill-based workshops on work-life balance, mental wellness, and team building for athletes and professionals.
Athletes or professionals will meet with Dr. Worthy for a 45-minute session. She will use a CBT approach and aspects from Positive Psychology to help identify unhealthy thoughts, behavioral patterns, and past unsuccessful experiences that interfere with your ability to function at your optimal level. The goal of this treatment is to increase confidence, by focusing on strengths, setting realistic goals, combatting negative thoughts, and taking control of one’s actions.
Family members (2 or more) will meet with Dr. Worthy for a 60-minute session. She will assist families with resolving generational issues, improve communication, and teach member to express emotions in a way that leads to connection, rather than withdrawal.
